My dear son,
It doesn't seem real that I won't see you when I go to your home in Naples on
Monday, October 2, your 48th birthday. I would always call you at 12:30 the time you were born to wish you Happy Birthday. Happy 48th birthday, Steven. We miss you more every day. I didn't know how much I would miss the ring tone you set for my phone from you --- TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME... I hope you are enjoying ballgames in heaven. Love you to the moon and back............. MOM

20 plus years we built a friendship and bond that extended far past anyone imagine. The love was real. It doesn't seem right because you did everything the right way. Bro,the countless dinners we shared and millions of phone calls just to say what up or tell a joke. I laugh right now as I am thinking of the time you ride down south 2nd street and said my informant Larry Wilcoxson aka Scooby has given all of you up. It was funny. I even gor into a real confrontation with a stupid dude for calling you racist. My I loved you bro and I'm already missing you. The phone calls just to say what up or tell a joke didn't matter the time. It hard on me. Ican't walk into Kountry Kitchen without me expecting to see you waiting on me or there with Mark, Stinson or Maria. Tell my mom I said hello Steven because I know you have ascended to heaven. Let her know I been doing ok. I will make sure the townof Immokalee and county of Collier remember you forever evenafyer I'm dead and gone myself. You serve our community with the highest integrity possible and done it the right way. It's so much to say but I just miss you and I'm sad. I will talk to you again my friend. It's a few things I didn't get to share with you when I called Saturday. I understand LIFE IS SHORT. I just may take that last piece of advice. I love you Mr. Funny Man
