The Zack family has spent 40 years at Granliden just a few doors up from Barbara and Richard. Seeing Barbara walk up our drive so often, or, in the company of her daughter in law and grandchild,- always with a smile and a small wave, will be missed. Aunt Barbara was like my second Mom. She was always full of positive energy, faith and love. She helped me through a very difficult time when my husband died and I will never forget her compassion and thoughtfulness. She was truly a remarkable woman and I am sure she is seated right next to God in heaven. .All of my love and prayers go to my Uncle Dick and all my cousins.

Barbara was a volunteer with Literacy Volunteers of Collier County's Children and Parents Reading Together. We recently honored her with an award for her service. I tutored with her at Golden Gate Elementary School for several years. She was caring and creative, and the parents and children always loved her. We will miss her a lot.
